About Us

Lion City Meadery (LCM) is the brainchild of two friends who share a love of mead – Sanjay Jegatheesan and Justin Herson – who prior to starting LCM, were in the totally unrelated industries of audio-visual sales and construction. After years of home brewing for friends and family, LCM was born in August 2018 to share Sanjay and Justin’s love of mead with a much bigger audience. Since then, LCM has built a strong following amongst craft alcohol lovers, with its three flagship flavours – Classic, Hibiscus Blueberry and Spiced, and its first seasonal flavour, Chrysanthemum, was a commercial success, despite being launched in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. After garnering multiple accolades globally for their meads, Lion City Meadery proudly raises the Singapore flag as South East Asia’s first international multi-award wining meadery.
